TEACHERS

Sadly, for the first time in 22 years, because of the COVID virus, we are cancelling all field trips for the season. We look forward to seeing you next year.

You are invited to bring your class out to our farm this fall. It is a place for kids to see a working farm during harvest, to see how pumpkins grow, and to have a great time doing so. Your group will be given a hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch where everyone gets to pick their own pumpkin. Then you are welcome to stay for lunch and participate in many of our farm-related activities.

McCall’s Country Store and the Miner’s Shack gift shop will be open, as well as a variety of concession areas. Restrooms are available on site.

Activities available during the week include:

  • Hayride
  • Pumpkin Patch
  • Giant Slide

We are scheduling field trips from October 1st-October 31st, Tuesdays-Fridays (closed Mondays). You must have a reservation for a weekday visit.

The cost is $7.00 per person for both children and adults (all ages 2 and older), and this includes a pumpkin from the patch for each paying guest.  Children under 2 years of age are free (but will not receive a pumpkin).

You may select an arrival time from 9:30 a.m. — 11:30 a.m. Plan to spend around 2 1/2 – 3 hours at the farm (this includes time for lunch).

One teacher may come for free with each registered class with an approved reservation.

The ticket window will close at 11:30 a.m., and the last hayride will be at 11:30 as well.

If you wish to come on a weekday with a class of fewer than 10 students, you do not need to make a reservation. Please check in at the ticket window between 9:30 a.m. — 11:30 a.m.

For home-school and other non-school groups, please register as a teacher.  Count around 20-25 students as one class, 40-50 students as two classes, etc.

If you have any other questions about the field trips, please feel free to email Kathy at: kathy@mccallpumpkinpatch.com

The office will be staffed mid-September, and you can call us at 505-595-7500.

Inclement Weather: If your registered group plans to visit the farm and the weather is questionable, please call our office after 8:15 a.m. to see if we will be operating that day.
